PinoyMD Organizer is based on the workflow of a
physician's clinic here in the Philippines.
1. Patient's Registration
When the patient approached the frontdesk, the secretary should identify if the patient is new or returning patient. If new patient, the secretary will enter the
patient's demographics into the system. Otherwise, the secretary will pullout the patient's information from the system and update if something changed
in the patient's demographics.
In this part of the flow, the secretary has an option to get the vital signs of the patient and encode them which will be seen by
the physician during the consultation.
The secretary will tag the name of the patient next in line for consult. This name will appear on the physician's computer once tagged.
2. Consultation Proper
When the patient enters the consultation room, the physician will ask the name of the patient so he can confirm the patient's identity.
During consultation, the physician will encode the medical history on.pinoymdorganizer.
If the patient came for follow-up, he can easily pullout all previously encoded informations such as clinical diagnosis,
diagnostics requested, prescribed medicines, teachings/instructions.
After the consultation, the physician has an option to print the consultation summary, prescription and other requests
so he can show the printed forms while discussing them.
Finally, the physician will enter into the system the manner of billing the patient and the secretary will be automatically notified.
3. Payment of Professional Fee
The frontdesk secretary will just refer to the patient billing information.
